This course combines the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course applies to anyone who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
In this course you will learn to:
- Respond to an emergency situation
- Perform CPR procedures
- Communicate details of the incident
All COTY students and graduates are required to renew their CPR every 12 months with a renewal of HLTAID003 every three years. The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian/New Zealand standards and industry codes of practice. This course forms part of our
10137NAT Certificate IV in Remedial Yoga Teaching and
HLT52215 Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies accredited course designed to teach remedial yoga in a group or work with clients in a clinical setting.
At the end of this course with 100% attendance, you will receive a Statement of Attainment that is credit transferrable within nationally recognised courses in Australia and can be submitted to your association for continuing professional education/development. Specific licensing/regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.
