Dry Needling is a treatment technique whereby a sterile, single-use, fine filament needle (acupuncture needle) is inserted into the muscle to assist with decreasing pain and improving function through the release of myofascial trigger points (knots in the muscle).
This course is delivered by a qualified acupuncturist and is the perfect starter course for practitioners to learn this increasingly popular treatment option for medical professionals used to assist their clients return to optimal function. You will demonstrate safe practices, and implement and monitor infection control policy and procedures. You will also learn all the skills of non-injection needling to stimulate specific soft tissues for therapeutic effect.
